Mango passed away on 8 December 2014 after suffering a heart attack during a concert in Policoro, province of Matera. While performing the song "Oro", he raised an arm and said "excuse me" to the crowd before collapsing. He was 60.
On 9 December, his older brother Giovanni felt sick during the wake and died at the hospital, aged 75. He is believed to have also died from a heart attack.

Historia est Magistra Vitae. If History is life's teacher, this means that the study of the Battle of Britain should serve as a lesson to the future. When the time came, research funds were allocated and the Radar (acronym for RAdio Detection And Ranging) and Dowding system won the Battle of Britain, defeating the much larger Luftwaffe forces. Not only a test of our moral strengths but even of technological superiority, where the best technology could track larger numbers of aircraft with a higher degree of accuracy and direct interceptors to them.

1I/2017 U1 (`Oumuamua) was a fast-moving interstellar 400-meter long asteroid, rocky or with high metal content. The visitor came from outside our solar system and its surface was dark and reddened just to appear more sinister. Never been gravitationally bound to the Solar System, that object again imposed its one-way trajectory.
This is the reason why I strongly believe that SKA, one of the largest scientific endeavours in history, should become even the Earth's radar and finally implement a real planetary defence.
We need an Earth's radar to detect the possibility and warn of potential asteroid or comet impacts with Earth, and then either prevent them or mitigate their possible effects.
The fact that no known asteroid poses a significant risk of impact with Earth over the next 100 years doesn't mean that we can postpone the lesson from the Battle of Britain. Impact craters are dominant and evident landforms on many of the Solar System's solid objects and it is worth to remind that in 2004 an asteroid (99942 Apophis) caused a period of concern because initial observations indicated a probability of up to 2.7% that it would hit Earth. Another object, Chelyabinsk meteor saw almost 1,500 people being injured in 2013. Not to mention that a substantial number of potential targets are not being monitored.
Imke de Pater, Professor at the University of California in Berkeley and acting on this article as an 'Alexandra' (Cassandra), wrote: "I further strongly urge to add radar capabilities, since SKA can improve substantially on imaging of asteroids and cometary's halo. SKA is roughly a factor of 100 more sensitive than existing telescopes. If all antennas would be equipped with radar transmitters to a total of 10 or 100 MW, radar observations with SKA could be several times more sensitive than can be achieved with Arecibo nowadays."

Few days ago, I wrote about how proud I am of my Scudo d'Oro, a Venetian gold coin, outstanding at the World Coins Signature Auction in New York on Jan 7-8 2018.
There is more and this is breaking news from me! I secretly commissioned a work, an oil on canvas, which represents that mysterious magistracy of the Lords of the Night (c. 1270 - 1797), who finally have their masterpiece to represent them. These officials had to monitor what happened throughout the city during the night. An amazing idea, that recently has been taken by Amsterdam, that appointed the first of the of night mayors.
I had this painting in my mind for a very long time, but I could't see the way to implement it until I met the most important specialist in the traditional Venetian maritime, Gianfranco Munerotto.
The story of the painting is more or less the following, but please add your imagination. Long time ago, when the street lamps, scattered everywhere, did not exist yet, Venice fell into darkness straight after the sunset. A galley, type of ship that was propelled mainly by rowing,is sitting in a remote area of the Venetian lagoon. The bridge reminds the Devil's Bridge on the Island of Torcello. The Codega (someone who opened the way with a lantern) is leading the two Lords of the Night to the main scene. Something is wrong. Venice is watching in the background. There is suspense in the air. Is the Venetian destiny in danger? The Lords will investigate.

Le svastiche arrivano perfino nei rifugi dei partigiani in alta montagna, che ne vogliano i grillini scatenati come formiche operaie fondamentaliste nel cercare di minimizzare, dopo che il movimento 5 Stelle ha votato contro la legge che punisce l'apologia di fascismo, definendolo un provvedimento 'liberticida'. Per la prima volta, son stato costretto a ritwittare Matteo Renzi che quasi non ci poteva credere per l'assist gratuito e la possibilità di segnare un goal dopo una vita politica di banalità che penzolavano come da un banano.

Here it is why I see a golden future for the British low-cost airline 'Jet2'. For all these reasons, I have decided to invest on this company (Dart Group PLC). Well, follow me:
1) Jet2 has started its operations even from London Stansted Airport (the airline's first base in southern England) in March 2017. They have arrived to the big market, London. I am not the only one who has cheated the old Yellow and Blue (Ryanair) with this exciting new Red (Jet2). People sooner or later will try it and they will realize that Jet2 do have more legroom and less annoying and noisy advertising on board (Ryanair's attendants never stopped hawking sandwiches, drinks, lottery tickets or perfume the entire flight);
2) Jet2 has a more friendly brand associated with holidays and warm destinations (red Spain). Many people leave good feedback, particularly referring to their outstanding service, talking about their exciting 'first time with Jet2'. Thanks to the reviews on TripAdvior, Jet2 claims to be the Best UK Airline. Being the last to compete with Ryanair and EasyJet, the freshJet2 seems more confident in avoiding all those behaviors that annoy passengers;
3) Jet2 became the latest low-cost airline to launch links to New York, stealing a march on Ryanair, which has flirted with the idea of transatlantic flights for the best part of a decade, without ever getting anywhere (source 'The cheapest way to get to New York' The Telegraph);
4) Due to the recent disaster of British Airway during half-term school holidays, customers tend to change their habits and they are more prepared to give a try to an innocent brand.

Il nemico comune del Movimento 5 Stelle e della nuova formazione politica 'Articolo 1' è il tempo che insesorabilmente passa. Il tempo passa anche a scapito del bene del nostro Paese. Fuori dall'Italia il tempo vola, mentre in Italia è avvelenato e paralizzato da giochi e giri di parole del professionista parolaio Matteo Renzi, del miserabile Salvini che costruisce la propria carriera politica denigrando terroni, zingari, migranti, tutti i poveri Cristi della Terra e Dio ci scampi dalla Meloni, una chihuahua stridula con retrogusto fascista. Tutti gli altri son nessuno.
Beppe Grillo ed il Buon Samaritano (Pierluigi Bersani), iniziando con un bicchiere di Tavernello, possono dar luogo ad un dialogo che magari non porta da nessuna parte ma che soltando per la sua concezione garantisce una accelerazione visionaria alla nezoica cenozoica mesozoica politica Italiana. Qui si gioca il bene di una Italia che sta scomparendo tra i debiti.
Non esistiamo solo noi, immersi in un egoismo di due mura (#thewall). Per il Movimento 5 Stelle aprirsi al Buon Samaritano significherebbe prendere un ascensore verso i valori aulici della resistenza, mentre per la Democratici e Progressisti significa pernottare in un albergo a cinque stelle in alta quota.
